1. What We Collect

Session data: The Game uses a temporary session cookie to track your current game state (selected teams, score, game progress). This cookie expires when you close your browser and contains no personally identifiable information.

Team win/loss statistics: Anonymous aggregate counts of game results per team are stored on our server. No player identifiers are stored with this data.

Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous page-view and engagement data. No names, emails, or identifiers are collected.

2. How We Use It

Session data is used solely to maintain your game state during a play session. Aggregate stats are displayed on the public Standings page. Analytics data helps us understand how the game is used so we can improve it.

3. Third-Party Services

We use OpenAI to generate announcer commentary. Your game context (teams, score, play situation) is sent to OpenAI for narrative generation. No personal data is transmitted. See OpenAI's privacy policy at openai.com/privacy.

We use Replicate to generate game artwork. Scene descriptions are sent to Replicate for image generation. No personal data is transmitted. See Replicate's privacy policy at replicate.com/privacy.

4. Cookies

We use one session cookie required for game state management, and anonymous analytics cookies via Google Analytics 4. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

5. Data Retention

Session data is deleted when your browser session ends. Aggregate team stats are retained indefinitely as anonymous records. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics default settings.
